It’s an updated version of the classic story

Day of the Jackal is as good as it gets. The series is about an elite assassin sniper (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.

He is a highly trained assassin who is also a master of disguise

He has been offered a job that is so lucrative that he could retire from the business, but the job is risky, especially when he crosses paths with a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch). She follows him across Europe as he tries to carry out his mission.

The two go head-to-head, with casualties aplenty along the way

Their personal lives begin to collide with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling the strings. Although some parts drag on for as long as 10 episodes, there is plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained throughout the series.
